The Lamborghini crashed near junction one, near Ramsbottom at around 8am. A police spokesman tweeted: "The driver of this Lamborghini lost control on standing water and took out a section of barrier before making off on foot prior to police arrival. "It's a very expensive mistake. "The vehicle has been recovered and enquiries are ongoing."
