Lamborghini Murcielago
Taiwan

The Lamborghini Murcielago was imported to the Chinese independent state illegally. Authorities appear to have carried out a public destruction of the car. The car was apparently impounded by Taiwanese authorities for its lack of license plates. It was then seized when the owner, a Mr Lin, drove it on the public highways back in 2013. Mr Lin lodged multiple appeals to his conviction in an attempt to avoid the destruction of the vehicle. Having reached the end of the appeal procedure, authorities transferred the impounded car to Taichung City’s Taiping District. A half hour argument with the owners representatives did not save the car from the crusher. It took the wrecking crew two hours to destroy the car because of complications with the equipment.
