This rare million dollar Gumpert Apollo was taking part in the 2016 Gumball 3000, Dublin to Bucharest rally. After leaving Edinburgh to go to Manchester with the rest of the convoy it lost control and left the road. How the driver lost control is not yet confirmed. Damage appears bad enough and even though the car still runs it sadly won't make it to Bucharest.
