Ferrari 550 Maranello
Laramie, WY

On a beautiful Wyoming day in mid March, the owner was recovering from being defrauded in Hollywood by a co-writer. The need existed to briefly "escape" and enjoy the sunny day in nearby mountains for a joyride. On still-cold tires at 3000m altitude, the owner lost control on an icy switchback at 45mph and slammed the driver side into a snowdrift. The owner hand-massaged the right front tire back onto the rim to re-inflate the tire following the accident. After insurance-covered repairs ($25,000 which included a new driver side door) the car won third place at Concorso Italiano in Monterey, California...on brand new tires. Driving across Nevada to that event, 140mph was common-wherever no other traffic existed. he has- once- driven it at 200mph up a 3percent grade at 2200m altitude. The car has 74,000 miles and is getting a new clutch.
