Hong Kong, China
A 31-year old woman in China crashed her Ferrari California in the early hours of Monday morning. The incident occurred near to the Aberdeen Tunnel in Hong Kong, when the driver had to brake suddenly, and somehow got the accelerator pedal and brake pedal mixed up. Instead of braking sharply, the driver gave the Ferrari full throttle for roughly 300 meters, clipping three roadside barriers and coming to rest against a tree. Sadly, the front end of this car is completely ruined, with both front wheels almost snapped from the axle. The woman was knocked unconscious in the incident, but recovered in hospital, confessing to police that she had got the brake and accelerator pedals mixed up. Hong Kong police said that the woman was not under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.
