Brutal Head on Crash Leaves Porsche 911 Unrecognizable

This horrible wreck is the result of a high-speed head-on collision between a Porsche 996 Turbo and an unknown vehicle in Strasbourg, France.  The Porsche is unrecognizable from the front, but that just means the crumple zone did its job.

We don't have any details on whether the driver survived, but it doesn't look good.

Here is a similar accident involving the same type of vehicle.  As you can see, the crumple zone of a Porsche 911 can really absorb a lot of energy.
