DaimlerChrysler invited a few people to test the new "sportive" c-class models. One of the testing areas included a small racing course on which potential buyers could test the handling of the car at higher speeds. One participant drove an all new (less than 1500 miles) 2004 Mercedes Benz C 230 Kompressor too wild, hit a pole and ran into a few concrete stairs. The "c-drive" team was really pissed, but they allowed him to test driver another car. The customer is always right I guess.
