Car:
2005 Dodge Viper
Description:
The wife and I were out exploring some fresh
blacktop up towards the Poconos. Came around a corner at a
nice clip and saw some rocks strew about the road. Slowed down a bit and
noticed an older, well dressed couple standing roadside. They waved us
down and over and asked for a ride, that's when we saw the Black
Convertible Viper down the embankment spewing out it's vital fluids.
The whole front end was torn off, the air filters were 15 feet away from the car, headlights, turnsignals and plastic everywhere. I gave the woman a ride to their house, it was just down the street. The
next car to come by gave the driver and owner of the Viper a ride to the
house. These two were obviously in TOTAL shock and the woman was visibly in pain but not
bleeding and she could stand and walk.
To make a long story short, the way I see it, he came out of the driveway
with cold tires, got on it and going from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 the rear tires
lit up and launched them off the embankment straight into a tree on the
passengers side. Then the momentum carried the car almost 180* toward the
drivers side around the tree.
