Description:
A girl attempted to dart across M-10 (a 50mph 4-lane divided highway) in an Oldsmobile Alero -- without looking for oncoming traffic first. Alero driver suffered minor "carpet burn" from seatbelt, Corvette driver broke foot and passenger had a hairline fracture of right kneecap. To further the nightmare, the insurance company did not total the car -- they cut the frame at the firewall and re-mounted the engine in a salvaged front clip!
